VP of Sales: North America

Job Summary: The VP of Sales: North America will seek and develop relationships with new customers and provide exceptional service to existing and new customers. This role works closely with the entire Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Sales Reporting and Production teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Seeks out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales
  • Stays current on existing and emerging products and technologies
  • Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis
  • Introduces and demonstrates new products to new and existing customer accounts
  • Follows up on all generated quotations to ensure the customer is being serviced
  • Reports competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management
  • Maintains ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with company image goals
  • Develops effective and productive working relationships with all SVR staff members
  • Assists customers with new brand layout/design
  • Develops and maintains a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions/changes
  • Implement a sales plan to support sales and profitability goals
  • Coordinates customer claims and required completes proper documentation in a timely basis
  • Provide export sales support for existing and new business as required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Internal Sales, Customer Service and Production to complete all customer requests

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.

Travel:
Up-to 50% travel is expected for this position, both domestic and potentially international.

Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in outside sales

Preferred Education and Experience:
Business Degree from a 4-year university (Bachelor’s Degree or higher)
Study or time spent living abroad
Ability to speak and write additional languages including Japanese, Spanish, Korean or Chinese
